General help and for recording items for Audio Wikinews.
Follow the template guidelines when recording, even if you are not planning to release a transcript. We encourage that a transcript be provided, to help others (such as those who have a poor understanding of spoken English) understand what the person is saying.

[編輯]- Ogg Vorbis audio 是我們所使用的格式，同時，這種格式也是Wikimedia Commons所支持的唯一音頻文件格式。我們推薦採用22.1kHz碼率的立體聲的1級質量。
- 您可在'File'和'Preferences'菜單中對Audacity的設置進行更改，然後選擇'Ogg Export Setup'中的質量拖動條為'1'.
- 文件名字需要包含日期並以ogg作為擴展名。如果您是製作簡明新聞，請不要忘記包含錄製的時間。

[編輯]- Treat wiki-links like text when reading (for example, "blue suede shoes" would be read just as "blue suede shoes"). Any vocal indication of every link would disrupt the flow.
- Speak clearer and more slowly than every day conversations.
- Do not read article titles when recording files. This results in a break of flow and can be confusing to some listeners. If needed, listen to your local radio to hear how they compile their news and emulate their style.
